WHAT IS THE PRECISIONTX™?

The PrecisionTx™ is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that can be used to tighten skin in sensitive areas. Part of the Cynosure® line of reputable laser products, this treatment can revitalize skin on the face, neck, and jawline in as little as one treatment. During treatment, radiofrequency energy penetrates through the uppermost layers of the skin and is absorbed by dermal tissue. This 1440 nm wavelength energy damages the skin tissue in a controlled manner, stimulating the production of collagen. Over time, this collagen begins to make the skin tighter, younger-looking, and more luminous than it was before.

In addition to improving the look and feel of the skin on these sensitive areas, the PrecisionTx can also be used to address a seldom acknowledged health condition: hyperhidrosis. Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, can have a significant, negative impact on the affected individuals day-to-day quality of life. The PrecisionTx works to combat hyperhidrosis in much the same way that it fights back against aging skin. During treatment, radiofrequency energy causes the tissue of the sweat glands to coagulate and ablate. This damages the glands beyond the point of normal functioning, stopping the patient’s ability to sweat excessively altogether.

How PrecisionTx Works

PrecisionTx has dual specializations, first laser-assisted liposuction treatment, and second laser skin tightening. The two functions work together to eliminate excess fat from the face as well as tighten facial skin, all in one easy appointment.
