What Is Cellulaze?

Cellulaze is a laser-assisted, minimally invasive treatment that targets and resolves the root causes of cellulite. It is clinically proven to improve the thickness of your skin while naturally preventing the future development of cellulite.

How Does Cellulaze Work?

Genetics, weight fluctuations, hormones, and aging all contribute to the development of cellulite. Any one of these factors could be the source of stiffness in the connective tissue beneath the skin.

The “cottage cheese” effect characteristic of cellulite is the result of fat cells being pushed up towards the surface of the skin. Cellulite is unaffected by muscle gain or weight loss because diet and exercise cannot loosen this connective tissue.

Many cellulite treatments focus only on smoothing out the topmost surface of the skin. Cellulaze works to address the connective tissue that was the initial cause of cellulite as well as smooth and refresh the surface of the skin

What Is Cellulaze Cellulite Treatment Like?

At the outset of your treatment, the areas of cellulite to be target are marked out and a local anesthetic is administered. Once the anesthetic has taken effect, minute incisions are made at the demarcated locations.

The Cellulaze laser fiber is then applied through the incision points via a small tube. The laser thread is then gently passed through the area to relieve tension in the connective tissue and smooth out the overlying skin. The entire treatment can often be completed in an hour or so, depending on the size and severity of the treatment area.

Recovery typically requires 1 - 2 days. Once this recovery time has passed daily activities can be resumed. It is not uncommon to experience some degree of swelling or bruising in the treatment area following the procedure. The results of the procedure will be most evident 3 - 12 months after your treatment, as your skin naturally heals the area over time.
